Knowing is half the battle by CeLdragon

Pain and stress that turns into depression is never fun.
Been somewhat able to fight off the latest dark feelings that keeps hiding nearby but pain is something I have gotten used to have daily in my life. Especially from my back ... >.<
Every time I tried to get more exercise done to help both with the weight and mostly for my back ... it usually dont take more than 3-4 months for stiff low back pains to arrive and make me unable to do anything for week to start with.

A pain that started when I turned 11 and I go to different doctors that didnt really help.
They checked the length of my legs, no problems there.
Asked about the history of my family if there was back problems ... which there is for everyone that was born with a long spine ... guess what I have -.-.
But it never went to an xray and I kept close to different parts of the hospital, even sick-gymnasts to help me lower my weight but never helped me getting a resume for an xray. I could work out for some time but the lower back pain would come back whenever I tried to step up the exercises.

20 years so far with the pain and it only took one doctor with right knowledge and I got to meet that doctor this last friday.
Heck, it didn't even take five minutes before he started to point out what was causing my problems. It was not my weight.
He could see it just from my posture that I had problem with one group of muscles that was very much inflamed.
Psoas minor, Psoas major and Iliacus. this group
Even just poking at the area made me scream and cry ... but he had to to make sure it was around that area and how inflamed it was.
He was suprised over the fact I hadn't been to any xray and rolled his eyes when I mentioned the other times with doctors and even gave the finger while saying they clearly didn't have the common facts or knowledge.
And now afterwards I can understand the confused look from one doctor that tried to diagnose where my pain was when I was even dealing with stones in my bile/gall bladder at that point of time. (That was chronic inflamed and close to burst but got the surgery just at the right time).

So I got my advice, tips (even in food) and some exercise to help out with said muscle since he told me that no matter the massage over the back, it would not reach the said area to be any of help. Since it is the inflamed muscles that push the nerves going out from the spine and sending the pain to the lower back.
And finally one appointment to xray to see how my lower back looks and hopefully no damage on the lower part of the spine. Since the muscle group do pull in that area.

There is no exact date yet but just knowing I am getting the right help makes things feels better

That's great to hear. The back is far more complex than some people realize, vertebrae can just slide over 2 inches and pinch nerves, muscles spasm and pull the spine over, the friggin sacrum can just pop out of place (been dealing with that..)
I'm glad your issues are getting fixed. Hopefully it will never return again, and you can be pain free.

      0.o ouwy!
Had to search up sacrum and ow!
Hope things are going ok for you as well and yes, the back is very delicate and complex with so many different muscles connected to the spine ... so everything and nothing can go wrong >.< with very bad luck.

Looking forward to be pain free in the future

Yeah, before I went to a chiropractor I had no idea some of the things back problems can cause. I don't think most people realize how many seemingly unrelated problems can be linked to a twisted vertebrae or an inflamed muscle.
Funny thing is some things are so easy to fix. Like the sacrum, most of the time I just have to use the heel of my palm, press down and twist and the muscles will pull it back in. Spines are weird.

I wish you all the best!
