FA Outage 2016 by Springdragon
I'm sure you've noticed that every time FA goes down, everyone remembers that Weasyl exists. I may or may not get around to fully updating this page, but the TOS was too long and cluttering up the sidebar. Here is a short journal to get rid of it.

It's such a pain to update though. I can barely handle doing both FA and Tumblr, and I handle the latter by doing a massive dump into queue every few months or so. There should be a management service offered to artists, to update all of that person's other art sites based on one main posting area for a reasonable yearly fee based on activity.
....who do I know, that I trust with my passwords, who needs some extra cash and is responsible?

Either A, FA needs to get its shit together and Neer needs to get his head out of his ass and actually fix the site or hand it to someone who can, he seem to be unable of letting go, or B, FA needs to crash and burn, though most people will likely filter into FurryNetwork rather than here, so.... yeah :/

Yeah, it is being marketed by Varka as an alternative to FA with more social networking to it, and....I hate it, it is so unintuitive.

Honestly haven't seen a single person say they like it.

It is getting better, I will say that, I could actually navigate my notification page a bit better today when I checked. It has been....a mix, people are using it to get their art there, but it is still not a primary site for them, and some people I know really like it in concept, but agree that it is not as intuitive as they would like and it is missing some key features for an art site.

Eh, for me, I'm on both FA and Weasyl. Some folks are on one and not the other, and there's never a bad thing with having more than one site. ;)
It's an excuse for me to give Weasyl some love though.
