Maze of the Minotaur

Saw Korra for the first time late at night, now, for those of you who don't know, the bad guys have these masks with glowing eyes. As I was heading off to bed, saw something following me, a (waking dream?) large black feral beast with those same eyes. I told it to go away, and when it seemed to be gone, went to sleep like normal.

Dreamed I was in an airy ultramodern building built around a mountain. Its walls were glass and spaces were cozy and filled with modern furnature and random objects and characters from every show/video game ever, and some of my own invention. The directions we could move were constrained to clockwise, counterclockwise, and at stairwells, up or down a level...and, something was stalking us.

The only thing I couldn't see through were the doors, and the Minotaur could be behind any of them. I was leading the group of about 20 characters to safety, and got to within 5 rooms of the building's exit, and made a break for it, no longer carefully checking if there was something behind each door. The third door had that same black beast standing there, now on its hind legs like a bear, making it the gnarliest, creepiest version of the Minotaur you have ever seen.

I woke up pawing the air "no...NO!!!" trying to close the door.

...the Minotaur reappeared in a minimalist dream several days later, but was smaller and less menacing. It has not reappeared since.
