Unfortunate Happenings by Caitybee

Today my PC decided to refuse to go past the loading screen when booting up. This happened in the past however it usually started after shutting it off and booting it up again.

However what happened, I restarted it and figured hey I'll go into the recovery settings to try and diagnose any errors in the PC's hardware. Nothing showed up and all I got were errors. I tried to restore the computer to a previous saved state however none would work, again error messages, and now when I shut it down and try to reboot again it's stuck in the recovery settings mode.

I have no idea how to get it to go back to booting up normally and I need help to fix it. All my art is on that PC, so if the hard drive dies I will lose everything, including art I have been working on that isn't finished yet.

Until I get it fixed, I cannot make any more artwork, and I am deeply sorry to those who are waiting on pieces from me. There's nothing I can do right now.

If anyone knows a working solution please contact me and tell me how I could get it out of that mode and back to normal. I do not have any recovery discs so worst case scenario I have to take it in for repairs.

Thanks for reading, and again I deeply apologize.

I used a Linux CD years ago to just boot into a PC using Live Mode (HD not needed to run the OS everything runs in ram). I'm always a newbie in the Linux world to be honest. Still, that may have given you access to the HD to rescue your files. But it looks like the PC is being repaired... so this info is probably too late. Sorry you have to go through the hassle of getting things running again.
