I heard about this before I went to work today and decided to do a journal about it.

I may not be a huge fan of his music, but I do appreciate what he brought to the music industry. Also with his movie that skyrocketed his career. Much like David Bowie. My earliest memories of him was seeing him as a guest star on Muppets Tonight and that was a great episode. The part where he had to make up a song on the fly as a bet against Rizzo the Rat was the best. Man I wish they put that series on a DVD set. Anyways, that was when he changed his name into a symbol. I think that's when many people would call that his "crazy phase".

I also remember him when he performed in the Super Bowl halftime several years ago. It was the greatest halftime show I had ever watched and I think many people will agree with me.

Prince. Wherever you are. May you rest in peace and keep celebrating like it's 1999. :)
