This weekend was very special, and I would like to share my experiences with all of you.
I traveled from Guadalajara to Mexico City last friday in the morning to attend the Coldplay concert.
-The Coldplay concert
I went with two good furry friends, Andy Snowleopard and Oselotti, who also loves Coldplay as me.
Since entering the stadium where the concert would be, they made us feel special, giving us a commemorative pin of the tour, and a bracelet. Also they sold souvenir cups of the tour when buying a beer (Heineken, not a really good one but I wanted my cup)
The concert was amazing, one of the best I have ever attended. They started the show with "A head full of dreams", the stage hung curtains made of colored balls with a circular center screen, the stage floor lit up, there was a long corridor that spanned much of the public and ended in a circle, when Chris Martin was passing through the hall, out colored powders, while the stage was crowned with fireworks with the colors of the rainbow. In addition, bracelets we got at the entrance automatically turned on to adorn all the audience in the stadium, bracelets turn on according to the rhythm of music, with patterns that created a galaxy of colors. Everyone was thrilled enjoying the show, very lit, shouting, dancing, jumping, singing along, while at the same time we were part of the great visual spectacle. When the first song ends, they continued with their great classic "Yellow", while the whole scene is painted that color. I could not help drawing tears.
They didn't play something more than hits of their past albums and songs from their new album, I lost hope to listen songs like Shiver, Politik, Till kingdom comes, or even old classics like In my place, Trouble or Speed of sound, because none of that were played.
Not for that was ceased to be a breathtakingly beautiful show, I would repeat it and could live that moment again and again.
-The exit of the concert
While they played A sky full of stars, many giant balloons sprouted all over the stadium. At exit, while we were swept away by the sea of people to leave the stadium, there was a boy who was clutching one of those balloons, he wanted to take it home. It was someone quite visible in the crowd, impossible to unnoticed him. So many people around were yelling "throw it, throw it" obviously he didn't want to do it, after several minutes, someone made him drop the balloon, and all the people whistled with joy as they began to play together with the balloon, while everyone singing the chorus of the song Viva la vida. The only one who probably didn't enjoyed that moment was the guy who wanted to take the balloon home as a souvenir.
After leaving the stadium, we must going through a sea of street stalls (that's really common to see on concerts in Mexico, where they offer ugly and sleazy t-shirts, printed mugs, posters, keychains and all kind of pirate merchandise, and all very cheap ), but imagine 62,000 people coming through a narrow place, that caused a chaos of people, it was very difficult and time consuming to pass between that crowd. But when we do that, I realized I had inside my pants a notorious grams less. Oh yes, I've been robbed, I did not have my wallet.
I got really scared and I had to report my cards to the bank immediately to blocked them for me. I also lost my ID, I'll have to deal with again.
Cash did not have much, were about 150 pesos (about US $ 8.5), which weighs more than me is my wallet, it was very nice, it was TMNT themed, I liked it a lot. I'm going to miss it T_T
I won't cry for that, I still really excited for the concert, was impressed by how awezome it was, all that I was lived minutes ago that had just been so beautiful !! But I wish the worst to the person who robbed my wallet n__n
-Weekend-
Yup, all that was Friday. Arriving home from my parents (as I stay with them every time I came here to Mexico city), I discover that they already received Zootopia art book I had ordered on Amazon:D
I still have not finished reviewing it. But wow, that's a really complete book!!
The next day, Andy, who came from Merida, wanted to see good friends we have in common here in Mexico, before he returned to his city. So we met Licos, Vook, Ed and Milko. We went to the "Tianguis Cultural del Chopo" (which many years that I would not do, it's a cultural market), we had pozole for eating in a restaurant called "Casa de Toño", very tasty and very cheap, if you are not from Mexico and one day decide to visit this great city , is a highly recommended restaurant. And then we went for a walk, talk and hang out in the Moorish kiosk.
Andy went to the airport to return to Merida, I'm going to meet him again for Anthrocon.
Vook and Licos invited me to spend the night at their home, it was very nice. I think I'm the only person they know who doesn't play Smash Bros, and they said that is always his classic plan when they have visits, but we still had a great time, ate hot dogs, talked a lot, I drew with Licos, we saw Tron, and then a TV show for children that I proposed them to see, "Sara and Duck". I love that kind of innocent cartoons, apparently they also liked.
Then I started to plan a future trip with Licos to Megaplex, for next year, we realized that it is quite rehash to do it and we were very excited.
The next day I went to eat with them barbecued chicken at a flea market, so delicious !! And in the afternoon I went to visit my sister, who proposed us to eat again in "Casa de Toño" hehe, I do not complain eat for two days in the same place.
They were two very relaxing days, I spent quite well.
First above all, I feel bad for everyone who missed out on the room block this year at the Hyatt for the next MFF, I can not believe out how quickly ran out, that not even happened so for tickets Coldplay, who also ran out, but in hours after the presale (like 3 hours, not 5 minutes as MFF's). And I have several friends who ran out of room u__u
Some friends had invited me to join their plan at MFF, who go every year for a long time ago, and gladly I accepted his invitation, because I've gotten along very well with all of them lately. I have to thank 2Chaotic and Acur for the effort made to get room and they achieved it successfully, so it's for sure that I will attend MFF for this year. As the last year, I want to have a place on the artists' alley and again to participate at the Art Show. So if you go, see you there!!
I have not booked anything else yet, I have not seen flight tickets, either, but next months I need to see that, as sooner, cheaper.
I will also attend BLFC and Anthrocon.
-BLFC-
Perhaps I'll repeat this topic about BLFC few days before it takes place. Probably not many people is going to read this when they see the journal and looked how many words I've written.
That about BLFC already is a well-grounded plan, I will go to Reno, and I have almost everything ready.
There I will also have a place on the artists' alley, even that have it posted on its website:
https://www.biggestlittlefurcon.org/market.php
I'll only be on Friday 13th (because Fridays 13th are for good luck) in the table b6. Saturday will want to be attend at the fursuits event.
I am thrilled by this convention, because I will want to meet many friends, I know it will be amazing, I want the time to go to Nevada comes soon. It will be my first time at that convention.
-Anthrocon-
Also I have the plan to go to Anthrocon this year, our plan is to stay to July 4th and also see the fireworks.
I applied to be at artists' aley, not confirmed until two weeks before.
Sadly I missed the deadline to participate in the Art Show, even so I sent my application, just in case I respond and a I may have works on display there, but if not, then no way, I'll save them for the MFF's in December.
Now it's everything I have to say and tell, I do not think hardly someone read this far, but if you do, here are on the last words a chocolate bamboo as a reward * Take your chocolate bamboo here *
A big hug to all !!

-BLFC-
https://www.biggestlittlefurcon.org/market.php
