Why Patreon, My Patreon by Ryngs

For those of you who might not know, I have a Patreon, and I am seeking support for those able to give. I want everyone to know what I use the funds I am given on my Patreon for, and to realize that your support is not going to waste.

The art supplies I use are top end, artist quality, and archival. Such supplies are not cheap! My average bill to Blick Art Supplies when I place an order is $120.00. To some that may not sound like much, but to a freelance artist like me, that is a fortune!

Additionally, when I take commissions I do not charge what they are really worth, pricing my commission as half what the market suggests. I usually eat the shipping cost, and the taxes. In the end the little profits I make go to keeping my rent and utilities paid. Usually, leaving very little for the expensive art supplies. That is where Patreon has been coming in as of late.

I encourage anyone who can and wants to support my art, to give to my Patreon. Those who do become a Patron with as little a $1, get perks: such as first pick of items, and a 24 hours heads up when I open for commissions. The money will go to keeping my studio stocked with much needed tools, paints, and supplies.

Oh yea!... It make take me a bit to get to it. Another option, is that we can take off the equivalent value off your next commission.
