I really do mean it. It's one of the best movie nights I'll ever have in my life. I got to see it tonight with my other fur friends at a private screening. From what I understand, our gathering of furries for "Zootopia" may be the largest in the US, as we had at least 187 furries attending (maybe more).

And what are my thoughts about the film itself? Well, it's no doubt one of the best that Disney has put out in recent years. It may even rank high among the greatest Disney classics, partly because it always has something to offer for both kids and adults, ranging from adorable characters to entice kids to subtle references that adults can catch onto (it even sneaks in a "Breaking Bad" reference, believe it or not). The idea of using anthropomorphic animals as main characters in a film is nothing new; however, the way it is done here, it's done in such a compelling way, that it's absolutely incredible. This, to me, is what Disney's "Chicken Little" should have been in terms of execution and using it's anthropomorphic animal characters to its advantage. Not only does this film provide a great satirical commentary of our human nature, but it also provides a very strong message about racial profiling, diversity and friendship, which we sorely need in today's world. It's fun, it's adventurous, it's hilarious, it's a viewing experience worth seeing again and again, and I absolutely loved it.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a perfect 10. :)
