Okay, my lovely nerds. I know I have absolutely NO presence on this or any art site for that matter that I'm a part of, but I am in need of assistance.

I am currently without health/dental insurance or a job. Combination of my fault and not my fault (long story). Last fall, I went through a rough period: I moved, I lost a job BECAUSE of the move since a manager forgot to transfer me, my 1 year old dog had to be put down, we're in a pretty cruddy house until the summer at least (since it was a quick move), etc. Well, my personal neglect caught up to me and I managed to get an abscess tooth. Luckily it's not painful (yet), but there's still a LOT of time.

I don't know if you all know this, but a dentist is insanely expensive. At least good dentists are, and I want to save my tooth by all means if I can. Which means, I'm going to need a root canal.

An examination with a full x-ray (since I want to make sure it hasn't spread) is almost $200. I'm not getting a cleaning, which I need, but this is really priority #1.
A root canal, antibiotics for the infection, and potential cap is easily going to come to $1000, if not more.
I know there's more people out there there need help with rent and more important things, but I'm starting to get scared.
