So, a journal over on furaffinity has come to my attention. A dear friend by the name of HollieHyena has had some medical expenses come up recently and could use some help to cover the bills that she is facing. She has been sharing her medical situation has been shared with some people, myself included via Skype. I'll spare everyone the details and keep private information private, but it was a pretty bad situation. Anyways, Hollie is one of the nicest people that I know and one of the first people that I met when I entered the furry fandom. She has earned a reputation for consistently being the nicest person in the room, wherever she goes. If anyone is deserving of help to pay medical bills, it's her.

For anyone who's curious as to what the medical situation is/was, here's what I can share. Pulling some information from the description on the gofundme page, there was a tumor near her colon that had to be removed. Unfortunately, because of the way that the surgery had to be done, about 18 inches of intestine had to come out as well. As I understand it, the surgery went well. The doctors knew what they were doing and the treatment was exactly what it needed to be. Also, it's my understanding that Hollie will be back home soon, if she isn't already. The immediate worry of medical issues has passed.

Here's the rub though. Due to a few complications that I don't care to list in this journal (Because other people's private business isn't something for me to share.) Hollie finds herself without health insurance and a bill for the removal of a tumor. At this time, she's asking for $5,000 in order to cover the cost of her medical bills as well as some living expenses.

It also bares mentioning that the Genesis Whitmore will be hosting a charity stream to raise funds. Looking at the journal that went up, it's safe to say that the Little Tales community is expected to have a solid turnout. If you can't support financially, please consider attending the stream and providing some moral support. I plan to make a donation during this stream personally.
