Ok, sorry for making a bunch of journals, this one can be ignored more than the other though, since it's just me ranting into the void.

Lately, I've been trying to block more tags cause I've been feeling like I was still seeing messed-up shit. One of the things I prefer Weasyl over FA is that I get to not see some of those pics since I can block the tags. Getting really tired of seeing furries shit mountains of shit on FA's frontpage for example.

There's 2 problem though. One pretty obvious that I knew was going to happen but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

There are people that won't tag their shit properly. I know it was bound to happen, but come on! If you have a fucked up fetish, be aware of the thing you draw and make an effort to tag it, not only for people to block your weird fetish, but for people to find your art of said weird fetish. You'd benefit from it as well! Now I know it's possible to forget, I won't blame someone for forgetting. I bet I often forget to tag certain things on my own art. But if you only tagged your drawing with 5 tags and none of them even alludes to the weird fetish presented, It's obvious that that person gave 0 shit.

Second is specifically the tag "fat". There might be more like this, but I don't want to block that tag cause I actually don't mind heavier characters, even in pornographic situation. My problem is that some people will tag disproportionate and impossibly obese character with just the word "fat". I would try to add tags to help everyone involved in those cases, but the thing is that I have no idea if there's a centralized term for these type of extreme obesity for that shit to be tagged as. I've almost tried going for "morbidly_obese" a couple of times, but I feel like "morbidly" has some negative connotation to it and I'm not here to necessarily insult anyone here (For this journal, I'm salty and it's an exception). I want to say that "fat_furs" is one but that one is too vague and I feel like normally fat character would still be included in a tag like that.

I have a handful of tags trying to block characters that are impossibly obese and I still see them on a regular basis. I feel like some people will probably say "deal with it" but what's the point of having a feature on the site when one of the things I'm blocking is too vague for me to use the feature properly? It's not my fault I find that shit disgusting. People that like it, it's great that it's there for them to enjoy, but I'd rather not have it rubbed all over my face.

Based on tags I block, I guess I'll just have to pick between "morbidly_obese" fatfur" and "massive" and start adding those tags. Hopefully I won't add it to the art of some crazy bipolar with self esteem issues that will get offended that their huge characters was called anything but "just fat".
