Currently playing: Disgaea 4. I was almost finished with it around the post-game fight with Asagi, but then my husband bought a bunch of DLC… I’ll be playing this title for a while now!

Currently reading: My Love Story! (Ore monogatari!) This is hilarious. I love the scene composition in volume 5 when Takeo is realizing “it wasn’t a bug!!”

I’ve also recently read Will Eisner’s “Comics & Sequential Art.” Right now, I’m working on “Making Comics” by Scott McCloud.

Currently watching: My husband play Metal Gear Solid 5. I haven’t watched a new anime for a while.

Currently drinking: Lupicia tea. I got a bunch for Christmas, but I need to finish the stuff I got for my birthday last year. Right now, I’m working on my “yume” blend, since it’s the oldest. After that, I’ve got “Ripe Mango Oolong.” My favorite, though, is “Rose Royal.” I really liked “Champagne Rose”, but that blend was discontinued. Sad day.

Currently listening to: Josh Groban. But my favorite is Versailles Philharmonic Quintet. After they split and Kamijo went solo, I actually like the rest of the band with the new vocalist-- “Jupiter”. My favorite song to do karate to is “Masquerade” – but “Dry Ice Scream” and “Forbidden Gate” are both close seconds.

Career: Right now, I’m a hobo—er, I mean, housewife. I’ve bounced between childcare and food service, but right now, I’m so sick of crappy bosses that I decided to be unemployed for a while. In the meantime, I’m operating my etsy shop full-time. (Message me if you’re interested in a custom plush toy!)

Top selling item in my etsy shop: Piggycorn. Unikitty and Mio & Mao are still popular, but Piggycorn has beat them both this month.

Volunteer activities I’m involved in: Celebrate Recovery and teaching shotokan karate through the CKA.

Artistic projects for 2016: a trade paperback collection of comics from the last 15 years. I’ve been at this a long time, but right now, I’m serious about learning about comics from a technical standpoint. I think I have a good instinct for layout, but I’ve never had any kind of artistic education. So, the collection is going to have stuff from the last 15 years as well as a new, top-secret project that is still under wraps.
