So for about the past two weeks Ive been having problems with my entire right arm and hand; kinda carpal tunnel-ish pains anytime I try to draw for more than a few minutes.
As much as I want to keep working on stuff since my art queue is totally empty, I dont think I can without being painfully slow. Ideally, I wont be posting anything until the start of February. But since Im taking an unexpected break and havent prepared anything for it, It might be closer to mid February or the end of it.
So yeah the one time I have to force myself to stop working on stuff and Ill probably want to work the entire time and be sad the whole time about it
I had actually already been doing the first two while I work on stuff, and only the third one recently when it was getting worse. Ive just started to look into getting some kind of split, but Im not too far into my research yet. How often do you wear it? Just while youre drawing?
Ack, sorry for the slow response. Has your wrist improved at all? As far as the splint, I wear it during activity...so for say work, I'd wear it the entire shift. At home when you're typically resting, I'd wear it for whatever feels comfy, but wear it especially if you're using that wrist.
Haha, no worries! :3c Its not as immediately when I try to draw, but still flaring up quite a bit if I try to draw more than about half an hour D: Hm, Ill do some more snooping and research, but Ill defiantly look into getting one!

Maybe try some of these? I've got a wrist splint that I wear occasionally on my left wrist... it really does wonders with the compression and movement restriction :3 I hope it improves for you!
