Fur-affinity is in Read Only Mode, and I just noticed that their forum no-longer exists. I always go to the forum when I notice the system is down to keep up with restoration progress. Now we have to go to Facebook or Twitter.

I read up on why the forum is gone and was disgusted. There was some sort of admin revolt there, again, so... whatever. It's been a few months too and there has been no change. So considering poor FA maintenance & redundance, sparse updates (the site looks and operates very similar to how it did 11 years ago), and availability of alternatives...

I've decided to make Weasyl my primary account. New art will be uploaded here first, and at FA whenever. I don't like having a lot of art accounts, but FA's troubles span the technical to the criminal to the dramatic, aren't anything new, and I joined Weasyl with the expectation that I'd eventually have to do this anyway. Who knows how long Furaffinity will last.
