Talon was born in Windfell, the homeland of the Goujen's. Living with them was but one human named Sin Dingle. Talon's mother was a caring woman who raised him and his sister by herself. Despite having to raise two children she made due, which is much easier in a community that cares about all of it's families and people. Talon's father died of illness when he was far too young to remember. His sister Bell on the other hand knew him and generally refused to tell her brother.

Upon the age of eight, Talon went to visit the human Sin Dingle to see what wonders the old alchemist had created. With good intentions, the first of the Goujenef were created.. A demon that was meant to protect the land of Windfell from those who would want to take it from the well meaning Goujens. The people thought of as just a myth, only by those who didn't live in the immediate area. Talon watched as his friends and family died, but namely he witnessed the death of Heather Brinberry, his prearranged wife to be.. They were both the same age, and upon exchanging their first kiss, she was stripped from his arms. His promise to protect her, became a lie as he watched her blood flow from it's mouth. Terror grew in his heart as he watched how the demon became many... It spat out an egg after devouring Heather, and it hatched into a smaller fledgling all baring the same mask upon their faces.

Talon turned to run, but found that he was quickly bashed across the head and knocked out. Upon awakening, he saw a demon enter a portal with lavender eyes that held tears in them. He knew that the only reason why he was still alive, is that his mother managed to retain her mind and not kill him.

Later in a days time when he began to leave what little was left of his home. A caravan of men in red garb and half plate armor rode up to him. The man in lead was named Lars Crampton, a member of the Order of the Crimson Hand. This is where Talon began his true journey and found a new life...
