His Story:: When Star Shatter was but a little colt barely even able to talk. His parents who were both Earth ponies knew not how to raise their son as soon as his magic began to manifest and become controllable. In fear of their home burning down and various other happenings they took him to the Arbordale College for Unicorns past the Bramblewood Forest. It was far from Canterlot, as it was greatly frowned upon as it taught the art of using magic for war. Most teachings went on by master's or through meditation, but meditation came at a price if a unicorn should ever be possessed or lose their mind within the depths. A student was never pressured to use the deepest trances of the meditation, but most would try none the less to even get past their peers.

With heavy hearts his parents left him there. They were excited with joy when they had received his first letter when he learned to write. They had sent letters to him, but never received any except by the Arch Chancellor. They would write of their recent happenings and that they missed him every day. Star Shatter would write back of his accomplishment's even the day when he received his cutie mark by casting meteor shower because of a dare. They were so proud of him, and visited him once a year.

Though Star Shatter was regarded with respect by his peers, he knew what truly lay in their hearts, jealously.. He had learned three of seven of the forbidden spells through his meditation. Though he had a few friends he could actually trust, one being Polly Miranda who knew him since they were able to construct sentences. Though it was her tragic fate to never receive her cutie mark that led Star Shatter to leave his home and beseech the advice and wisdom of princess Celestia. Even if he would find no friends or refuge outside these walls, he would have to try for his friend's sake.

Upon leaving he was confronted by the old Alicorn who was the Arch Chancellor named Feed Bag. Despite his silly name, he was one of the most knowledgeable Alicorns in all of Equestria. Some would say he knew more spells and had more power than any of the princesses or unicorns that lived to this day. He gave what little permission that was allowed by him to Star Shatter to leave. He would see the little unicorn that had made his way into his study, learned a spell that was far too advanced for a young colt and enhanced it. The little unicorn that had gotten into his chest of memories, and dawned on the old robes that had been around since the forming of the college. The coat that had belonged to a friend he had long missed, it was he the Arch Chancellor that armored the coat for Star Shatter. To hide the old insignia that lay upon the back. The old insignia that broke his heart to see, but he could never part with it. With just a simple gesture and a few charms to protect him, he would send Star Shatter on his way.

Star Shatter would journey for nearly a month, before reaching Ponyville. Of course befriending the ever precocious Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy. His love of animals, enjoying life, and trying to impress those that would deem someone needing to be twenty percent cooler drew them to him. Though it would come to the visit of princess Celestia on that day that he would find out... There really is no reason or advice he could be given to help his friend. He was not scorned for where he was from, but he felt that he wanted to try to live a normal life. To try and live here in Ponyville, so using some supplies and a transmutation circle he constructed his home. He would live there, enjoy life as it should. Be around his new friends, and even help along the way the Cutie Mark Crusaders, especially young Sweetie Belle who he felt was as a little sister he never had.

Though it isn't mere coincidence he would settle here for now. The Arch Chancellor knew what was to happen, and that Star Shatter would have to leave, and the fate of Polly Miranda would be less than desirable. To even put the fate of Equestria into almost complete ruin, as it had long before the Equestria that was known today was. Back even before the Element's of Harmony were bound to the two princesses, when the betrayer had risen the first time...
