Clarence Mordrid comes from the Isle of Hy-Brasil off the coast of the British Isles where he worked as a plague doctor and general herbalist/physician. He's my plague doctor persona, used during Halloween, Renaissance Festival, and occasionally online in games. He's very upbeat, friendly, and talkative. Being very "old timey" and also from a fictional mysterious country, he's got a lot of quirks. His homeland, my personal version of The Isle of Hy-Brasil, is still a work in progress, but I have some details worked out. As English isn't his first language, he speaks with an unplaceable slight accent and uses a lot of old terms and phrases. Something you'd expect in a book hundreds of years old, stuff we no longer say, you know? He sings to himself, sometimes in English and sometimes in his native tongue, and plays piano and organ.

As far as his physical design, he's a tall, somewhat stocky build, with kind of thicker proportions compared to my other characters. He's not fat, I wouldn't even call him chubby, but he doesn't have defined muscle and is slightly curvy for a guy. Clarence has semi-opposable pinkies and uses them to carry objects weirdly. I've yet to draw his face or show his skin tone, maybe some day. He always wears black or very dark grey, usually has a splash of vibrant or dark red, and wears the mask constantly. His shirt is slightly longer than usual, almost tunic-like. When interacting with people, he often uses the doctor stick to poke and point, not allowing himself to become "too physical" during work, but he's a very different person when off-duty and will hug and sling an arm around friends freely.
