An experiment created in a science facility, Sebastian began life in the facility as a fetus taken from two parents whose genes were "excellent" for the experimentation, allowing it to be easier for the scientists to further alter him (mostly) genetically to become the "perfect being". What came out of this were things such as a stronger immune system, excellent sight, higher stamina and strength, etc. However, as well as the many benefits, there were also a few downfalls, allowing for him to be more susceptible to other things (certain diseases, imbalances, etc.). He was released into the facility after being raised in a "womb-like" chamber within the building for approximately two years--after being let out from the chamber, he was able to begin his many years of shadowing the scientists as they worked and ran tests, as their initial plan was to feed him as much knowledge from a young age as possible in order to essentially brainwash him into believing that, although extremely immoral in actuality, that all of the facility's views and actions were not to be questioned and were always correct no matter what. Not coming as much of a surprise, Sebastian did indeed grow to accept everything as morally correct, but because of this, he also grew curious about himself, sneaking around the facility when given the opportunity to run "tests" on himself, such as injecting himself with unknown liquids, consuming various things that had been left out, etc. He would be punished with isolation if found out about, the scientists gradually growing to become disappointed with their creation, seeing as he was "ruining himself after all they'd done for and to him". As a result, Sebastian was never allowed a higher position other than data collection, now working alone outside of the facility to gather samples from others and animals to send back to the facility for examination, as they now are working to build an even "better" version of Sebastian... one that won't act out and will truly be "perfect" in their eyes.
