Midnight Diaz-Pireaux is a spunky and imaginative autistic tuxedo kitty who was born today, 21 years ago, on June 13th! She'll be the main character in my up-coming series, Mini-chan's D.G.A. Journal!

Midnight (who goes by "Mini-chan" because she feels that "Midnight" is too generic) can't talk and tends to be spacy and a tad clumsy, but don't underestimate her--she has quite the brain.

She can communicate by using an advanced text-to-speech program on her phone, which is cutely decorated like a purple tiger and named "Tiggy". She knows how to fine-tune the speech to show emotion, ennunciate certain words, and even "sing"!

She boasts a lot of talent, mainly drawing, dancing, cooking and sewing/upcycling (as shown by her custom over-alls, made from an old denim flight suit), and an imagination the size of a galaxy.

Whenever she faces a problem in real life, she tends to find the answer in one of her surreal, colorful dreams, in which she imagines herself as a bouncy rubber robo-kitty with two magical pets and three imaginary comrades.

Some people say spending too much time in your head is a bad thing--fortunately, it's helped her to understand how autism works for her and others, translating them into vivid cartoon allegories, and she has dedicated (most of) her life to putting this wisdom into journals nd turning them into fun stories that almost everybody can understand.
