Princess Keshi is the forth and youngest child of RachnaKhan, ruler of Kolmakarr. And she's the only child he had with his second wife, an Amandir, a race of domestic cats. This origin is blessing and curse likewise for the young women: her father loves his only daughter, all that's left of his wife who died giving birth to Keshi. But at the same time, most of the tigers in her homeland look down on her, being a hybrid between tiger and cat.

So all her life Keshi tried to proof herself worthy of her fierce origin: She trained hard to become a skilled fighter and few match her skills in battle. Since she has three older brothers, she never had to carry the same responsibilities, still she has been educated in administration and diplomacy, subjects she never grew confident with.

On a more personal note, the young woman has quite a few admirers, but she sees romance and affection as a weakness she can't allow herself. When she exposes her well trained body in her rather extroverted armors it's just to show her strength not to seduce or distract. Such use of female charms she knows from her step-mother is unworthy in her eyes.
