Faestus Flynn, the Phoenix of Faervan, is an enigmatic individual, often quick to have a laugh and sing a song or two. He speaks with an Mediterranean sort of accent, as the phoenix is a creature which hails from Greek myth. Faestus himself is from the mystical realm known as Faervan, a place of music and song, magic and light. He not only enjoys singing, but is a fine hand at the drum as well.
Faestus is a character born of a happy circumstance which led to my obtaining my very first fursuit head. The head was made by Crystumes Costumes, and includes a moving beak and LED eyes. I plan to get a matching tail from her in the near future as well.
His name was inspired by that of Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire and the forge, as well as the common Irish surname Flynn, which translates to "bright red." The word "Faervan" comes from a fictional language created by a friend, and means "song" (it's also part of the name of the old version of Lanóvran).
