Aura is a freelance artist with a passion for being problematic. They have lived in the city their whole life, and have been hired to do a handful of murals around it, a fact that they are obscenely proud of, since the first one was an obvious statement against the system they hate.

They do not have a real home and will often just sleep on whatever friends couch they can land at night, usually their partner Carson's. While offered a more permanent place in his home, Aura refuses to stay there unless they can pay their share, which isn't currently possible.

Aura is a fiercely loyal friend, but most tend to write them off for how hard it is to reach that status, and how easy it is to lose it. They like to get personally involved in a lot of things that are none of their business, like arguments and fights they happen across.

Aura is considered to be the last of their species, and often are the object of many weird looks. They enjoy this attention, and revel in proving to the world that they exist, something they use strategically to argue the existence of other 'extinct' or 'non existing' species.
