Biographical Data:

Fiachra and her younger half-sister Niamh were orphaned at a young age when their mother was murdered. The two grew up in the care of their maternal grandmother, but they were often left by themselves, so Fiachra spent most of her childhood looking after her sister. Her early life was mostly quiet and uneventful, until she and Niamh befriended a young vixen named Ciara. Ciara was an exile from the fox kingdom to the south and she introduced a great deal of excitement into her new friends' lives. Fiachra has followed her all across their island home to stop two wars and to try to bring some kind of peace and order to the place.

Fiachra is the closest thing that the city-state of Oseille has to a hereditary ruler. Her role is mostly ceremonial, as the city is run by a democratically elected council, but she still considers the city and its people her responsibility. As such, she is very protective of her fellow rabbits and she has put her life on the line several times to help protect them.

Personal Statement
"Tell me about yourself?" Oh boy, you know, I hate that question. I can never get through one of these interviews without the sneaking suspicion people are going to think I'm bragging just a bit too much. Maybe I am, I don't know. Anyway. My name is Fiachra and I'm the ruler of the Free City of Oseille on the island of Viridis. But then, if you're here, you already know that. I guess most people would call me a queen, and that's close enough. But I like to think that we have a somewhat more egalitarian society here in Oseille. There's a city council that helps make decisions and people here are free to do as they like, to the best of their abilities, no matter where they start or what species they are. See, most people think that because we're mostly rabbits here, we don't let anyone else in, but anyone is welcome as long as they behave.

But, no, no, I'm starting to sound like some kind of politician. Again. I'm just an ordinary person, really, and I look after my own as best I can. Especially my half-sister Niamh, and Ciara, her wife. Well, what are big sisters for? They grumble sometimes, but we've always been close and the three of us have achieved some pretty amazing things over the years. Who knows? Maybe, together, we can make some kind of difference in the world after all.
