Grown in a lab as an attempt to resurrect the long dead Demi-Human races. Modaieous lead a very sheltered life, until the day he learned of the ongoing Galactic War being waged against the group known as "The Crusaders", which was reportedly lead by the man who single-handedly wiped out the Demi-Humans. Modaieous suddenly felt a strong sense of duty toward his people, and left the safety of his home in the genetics lab to enlist in the military.
There he excelled. Despite living in a lab for most of his life, he was stronger, faster, more cunning, and had keener senses than all of the Human cadets. But his true gift was in leadership. Whenever he lead the war-games, his team always won. It got to the point where a team's moral would completely shatter upon hearing that Modaieous would be heading the apposing side.

Modaieous graduated from his training with the highest possible marks, and was automatically pushed into several advanced training programs. All of which he aced with seemingly minimal effort.
This got him noticed by some very important people in the military, and he was immediately stationed as the 'Second In Command' on one of the fleet's most advanced warships.
There Modaieous was able to showcase his talents in real situations. Within a year was promoted to the rank of Captain, (The youngest to ever reach that rank) and was given command of his own starship; "The U.S.I.S. Bared Teeth", the single most advanced ship in the entire fleet. A secret weapon, staffed exclusively by other military prodigies. The ship's prime directive: "To strike deep into enemy territory, and finally put an end to the war. Once and for all."
