Whitebaldrik is the magical Familiar of the powerful and immortal wizard, Blackbaldrik. As such he contains a piece of Blackbaldrik's own Soul, granting Whitebaldrik immortality as well.

Whitebaldrik is highly energetic, fun-loving, and possesses a boundless sense of child-like wonder. Which is a stark contrast to Blackbaldrik's grim, stoic, and world-weary demeanor. But despite their severe differences in personality they are extremely close, and neither could imagine life without the other.
