Evaline grew up side by side with a forest witch.
Their families were long time friends.

They'd often go playing in the forest and see all the wonderful sites.
Then one day her witch friend Chid found a sleeping god and went to fetch her.

He promised the sight would be worth the trouble of getting there.
They both saw the god and its beauty was breathtaking.

It then woke as they spoke kind things about it. Feeling joyful the god blessed each of them in turn.

It took their heartfelt desires and turned them true.
Chid wanted to be closer to the forest and thus he was blessed with the form of a forest sprite.
Evaline wanted to be graceful and beautiful and thus she was blessed with the form of centaur.

Chid was very pleased and she was not.
The god soon left to go do godly things and they were left to deal with the blessings.
