Sayen’s neighbor from across the street. Avedir is no stranger to travel, and Prylea might even be one of the few places he’s spent more than two weeks in. Being raised according to Wood Elf tradition, Avedir has been hunting and camping outdoors since he was 7 years old. He has a great respect for nature, and will only take from it when needed. Wood Elves traditionally stay in the woods they were born in their entire lives, but Avedir left to see the world… A decision his parents didn’t agree with at first. However, when they saw how happy wandering made him, they supported his choice. He still writes them often to make sure they’re still alive and well.

He actually met Tamani while he was staying in her village for a week. Needless to say he ended up staying a little longer… However, him and his love had to flee their homeland because the Ivoryvale Cult had gained a lot of influence behind the scenes. Constant discrimination and lack of safety became too much, and they soon decided to emigrate. After a lot of travelling, they rested in Prylea, and ended up settling there. After Tamani joins David on his quest to stop the Cult in their new home, Avedir gladly follows her example. He already has a grudge against them, as they burnt down part of the forest he lived in when he was a teen, killing hundreds of Wood Elves in the process.
Avedir might not be too talkative, but has wisdom beyond his years. Usually when he decided to join in on a conversation, he has something to say that offers a new perspective on the issue. He usually keeps a level head where the others would panic, and thinks in possibilities rather than what’s stopping him. He’s the complete opposite of Tamani’s rash, aggressive personality, and often prevents her from getting into fights when the group is resting at an inn. Sometimes, Avedir is the only one she will listen to, as he knows her best.
