Before middle school, he used to be your typical energetic kid. Had good friends, a good family, a good life. But on his first day of middle school, everything changed. He witnessed 3 seniors bullying a freshman vixen. He tried to tell the staff about the situation, but they claim to have "better things to do", so he charges in to fend them off until a staff member breaks them up. Even though they served detention, Daniel served double what they got. Since then, he, the staff and the "privileged" students became enemies. For the next several years he tried to avoid further notoriety (the best he can) while trying to figure out what's going on with the school district. Even with good grades and some friends who agree with him, including the rescued fox JENNY, he feels he can't trust anyone. Not even his parents, who tells him to drop the case. But how could he if he keeps seeing the innocent getting blamed and the guilty getting away? Eventually, one morning in Spring '95, A news article about the district taking bribes to cover losses got published to the papers. What started as a protest somehow escalated into a riot, putting Bakersfield into a deeper rut. When he got home, there was relief at first, but when he brought up the reason for the riot, things went south fast. He and his mother would constantly argue about the topic, but this time, it didn't end as peaceful as the others, so he decided to pack up and sneak out of town, heading south to the city he obsessed over for some time: Santa Azul.

Daniel's fighting style is a streetbrawling style, although it contains some of the basic elements of Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing and Muay Thai. He has The Rage, one of the two powers that maintain the balance of the world. Rage users are known for great offensive capabilities,but are also prone to be uncontrollable due to strong emotions triggering their abilities. His abilities consist of blinking fast claws and basic ice abilities like producing ice shards and wielding an icy short sword he dubbed "Einhander".
