Dolusplant (AKA Plant Beast)

Growing up, Flos was always seen as the odd one out. As the youngest child in a family of four, he was often picked on and ridiculed for his jolly disposition and his conversations with the family's livestock, most of which consisted of captive humans. He was a sweet plant beast, but that wouldn't stop his siblings from picking on him for his emotional weaknesses. This treatment would grow worse when he learned of the culinary arts from one particular man his family had captured. For in the several months the captive stayed in his household being fed for a coming meal, he would teach Flos many techniques and recipes. It caused the imaginative young Dolusplant to become rather obsessed with the hobby, which created tension among his siblings for breaking the diet and rituals of their kind. However, his mother was not opposed and rather found it endearing, even going so far as to allow her son to serve his meals at dinner, alongside the usual of course. She also allowed his human teacher to live. These decisions caused Flos's eldest brother to grow jealous and somewhat hateful of the young plant, aiming more mistreatment at the young one.

At the age of thirteen, Flos's family was discovered and hunted by humans, forcing them to flee. Flos was seperated in all the chaos, and got lost in the forest. Luckily, he found an old shamble of a house to live in safe from harm's way, and for three years set to work planting seeds and growing fauna in his new home. During this time, he fed off of small animals and deer but temporarily lost his eyesight in a cooking accident. That was when two children named Hansel and Gretel found his home. Due to the Dolasplant's natural illusionary abilities, the two thought that the house was made of candy, and that Flos was a kind, old woman. The plant beast tricked the two into his house and in reaction to Hansel's rudeness, attempted to eat him first. To Gretel he was kinder, and even taught her how to cook, despite his plans to eat her later. Unfortunately for Flos, the two escaped and the plant beast was left to burn in his own oven. He managed to survive and regenerate, regaining his eyesight in the process. Since that day, he's become extremely paranoid, and very careful when it comes to his soon-to-be meals. However, despite this, he always seems to be quite kind, at least until you insult him.
