Trench's fur is sleek, comparable to that of an otter, and she possesses many unusual physical features. Behind her ears are two large, expressive fins that she uses in conjunction with her foldable dorsal fin to detect vibrations, electrical signals, and water current. Her wings feathers and tail fins are thicker and less sensitive and razor sharp to be used in combat. Trench is not a good flyer, but her forked tail and webbed digits make her an outstanding swimmer, and her gills let her spend endless time submerged.
Due to her isolated habitat, Trench never learned to socialize properly, making her anxious and awkward around others. Her bioluminescent markings will change from yellow to blue-green when trying to hide, and to red-orange when putting on an aggressive display or startled.
Trench has a deep voice and and loves to imitate the sounds of sea life. She enjoys treasure hunting and spearfishing, and loves to give gifts.
