Dislikes: Just about everything

Darby is half gecko and half dragon, but often denies her gecko half. She can only glide and hover with her underdeveloped and undersized wings. She is hardly able to spit flames, and is usually spouting smoke instead, which over time has given her a raspy voice. Her fiery temper makes up for the flames she can't breathe. She was raised by her mother, a dragon from Dublin, and her father, a gecko from Pennsylvania, and retains a bit of her mother's irish accent. Darby likes to think she's a ladies' lizard, but the awkward dragon's attempts at flirting are often met with odd stares and sympathetic giggles. Darby has little interest in fashion, and often dresses in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. Her large gecko-like feet don't fit into shoes easily, so she's barefoot most of the time. She identifies loosely as female, presents androgynously, and has a preference for women. (She/her pronouns, but she won't be at all bothered should se be misgendered) Darby comes off as irritable, apathetic, and sarcastic most times, but has her bouts of hyperactivity. Affection is sometimes hard for her to show, so any of her attempts are seen as a rare blessing.

Darby works as a freelance illustrator and a manager at a small package store in Massachusetts, USA. She lives in an apartment with her girlfriend, Annwynn, an iguana/cat hybrid, and their two pet cats, Milo and Frankie.
