--General Bio--

Sents are a demonic race of creatures that exists on Genesis, along with all the other original species I come up with.

Sents can be born to any couple. It all depends on the morality of the parents, tho. The more corrupt the individuals involved in the process are, the higher the chances of having a Sent.

Sents are technically descendants of demons, which can give some of them a bad disposition. They can also turn out bad if their parents raised them poorly. Most parents will disown or shun a Sent child, because of the guilt and weight of what they represent.
Despite that, some Sents turn out fine, and function just as well as any other sentient creature.

A bred Sent is a very bad thing. Any Sent that is known to have had children will be punished, in various ways depending on the town.**

--Anatomy--

Their eyes are always yellow and red, mouths are always usualy orange or yellow, skin is always dark greys or blackish shades.

They live approximately twice as long as a healthy human.

** Sents are fertile and can breed with any species. However, their offspring always suffer from severe mental illnesses that make them unable to exist in civilization peacefully. Most serial killers in Genesis turn out to be Sent offspring.
Sent children look like a mutated, skull-faced representation of the other parent's species.

Their blood is also bright lava orange.

--Availability--

These are an open species! Their design is pretty solid, their skulls can be any kind of skull, but usually resembles their parents somehow

I loooove Sents. Always have! I would really love to create a Sent character, maybe I will. :)
I don't think I've ever seen the lore behind them before, though. That is something new to me that makes me love them even more!

You are more than welcome to make one, if you so wish! :D They're fun to customize and I don't mind if people blip them into other universes and junk.

    really interesting concept!

what happens if two Sents have a baby instead of mixing with another species?

oh! Good question :O Sents to other Sents would be infertile for now, I don't for see there being a use for them reproducing with each other.

yeah makes sense with their backstory

I can imagine they face a lot of stigma and prejudices both negative like "OMG you're a sent so you're parents are terrible people so you have to be a bad person too GET OUT OF OUR TOWN ALL OF YOU!!!" but also "positive" like "oh you poor sent baby your parents have to be monsters I'll rescue you from them :'( " but of course both is bad as they don't adress the individual... so it must be pretty hard to live as a sent or isn't genesis as prejudiced as our world?

Exactly :) Many of the social status issues that revolve around Sents (and other species with poor dispositions like Warilla-infected humans...) are parallel to the behavior we are used to seeing today. My concepts aren't meant to specifically comment on views of gender/political/racial disagreements as we relate to them, but more so the paradigm that sentient creatures always seem to find ways to separate and ostracize themselves, no matter what the reality.

As more of the social construct of Genesis becomes familiar, hopefully it's clear that the "bad guy" in my story is ultimately the same things that keeps us cycling through hatred for thousands of years.
