King Arminius I of the Civilized Lupines allied to the Human based empire,has sat on the throne for the past 12 years. He is a widower, and his twin children are in the Imperial capital receiving an education (they are, but they are also in the imperial capital as "guests", institutionally there to insure Arminius loyalty to the Imperial seat).. He's a careful, and thoughtful King, who listens to his advisers. he was in the military before ascending the throne and taking over for his late father. HE is fair to his people and slow to anger, but ruthless in opposition, lacking in Mercy to any that oppose him. He has o balance the needs of the empire with the needs of his kingdom and his people. but the Imperials, aside from a large garrison within his lands, do not press him, as his kingdom is a large source of recruits for the Empire, of both Lupines and Humans wishing to see more than the forests, narrow valleys and alpine mountains of his Kingdom. that being said he maintains a fairly large military, replete with a few noble Lupines as his Kingdom borders the unknown East and the contentious lands of the Southeast.
