Os-Nadarra Sentinels
Art by Dixievonfur of FA, now known as Plaguebug

The only child of a Norwegian Immigrant and Canadian-born Ice Phoenixes, Vinge had a difficult life growing up, though it started out as any child wants their lives to be like; his family was happy, and spent much time together, doing all sorts of things all of them loved. Life seemed perfect; his parents gave him the best education they could afford, and paid for many interests he adopted when he was young, including learning to speak foreign languages, the study of history, and martial arts practices.

However, his perfect childhood came to a screeching halt when he was nine years old; members of the I.T.O.U.E broke into his house and kidnapped his father when he attempted to protect them. The horrifying sight of the I.T.O.U.E Cyborgs and their masked troopers haunted him for the rest of his childhood and adolescent years, becoming night terrors that plagued him throughout his life. During this time, though, he found many ways to cope, although in the process became rather reclusive and anti-social, refusing to interact with most others. He dedicated his every waking moment to practicing Martial Arts, excelling especially at Kendo, Fencing, Taekwondo, Judo and Aikido, all of which he mastered over the course of 7 years. At the age of fifteen he picked out his first copy of Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War', a book he reads almost religiously, and even took on courses to improve his IQ; recent tests have scored him as having an IQ level far exceeding that of regular people, landing at 205.

Vinge is a skilled combatant and a master of strategy, both conventional and non-conventional, and is all highly skillful with his Ice Powers, able to perform various feats that only those with perfect focus can attain. Having this focus also gives him incredible reflexes, able to see the movements and even react to attacks of opponents with superhumanoid speed. Besides this, he contributes to the Os-Nadarra as being their strategist, secondary leader and all-range combatant, able to battle opponents at any distance.

Arc 2: Threat of the I.T.O.U.E

Life for Vinge would not become easier, however; when he reached 19 years of age, his mother fell ill with a severe ailment that, although had existing treatment for it, was not covered by standard Alberta Healthcare, dooming her to death unless Vinge somehow came up with a small fortune to pay for it. Desperate, and with no way to make the money honestly, Vinge turned to a darker path for the means...

Vinge first met Volcan MacAingeal and Obsidian Kimoyama after he successfully robbed a bank; tracking him to an airfield that originally belonged to his father, Vinge dueled with Volcan for the first time, their battle ending in a draw when Obsidian intervened. Convincing Vinge that Volcan had come to help him get treatment for his mother, Vinge surrendered himself, and was arrested by Obsidian. He faced trial for his crimes, and Volcan appealed to the jury to release Vinge into his custody, under the conditions that if Vinge went out of line again, Volcan would share his sentence. Following this, Vinge was invited into Volcan's musical band, becoming their keyboarder and lead vocals, his first performance at a fundraiser sponsored by Volcan to get treatment for Vinge's mother.

It was also Vinge who helped Volcan plan for the imminent attack of the I.T.O.U.E, coming up with the idea to trap them and leading to their capture, and during the clash with Jacob Rex's ultimate weapon, the Cyber Wyvern, Vinge conjured up a giant ice spike that was used by him and Volcan to impale the Cyber Wyvern and summarily destroy it.

Arc 3: The Overlords

During this chapter, Vinge competes in a competition alongside Tsume, where he meets Colman Olson, a teacher in Lethbridge, who uses the Martial art of Sikaran. Seeing how the fighting style is performed, Vinge desires to learn this fighting style, believing it may be the final step needed to perfect a fighting art he himself was trying to develop. By the time it's completed, he names the fighting style 'Hvert våpen', or 'Omni Weapon' (WIP)

Following Calhoun's birth after being exorcised from Volcan, Vinge and Tsume intervened on an assassination attempt by Yaiba Kumori; working in unison they narrowly managed to defeat Kumori, but Volcan was out of commission and unable to lead the team.

After Kumori's sneak-attack on Volcan, leadership of the Os-Nadarra fell to Vinge, and his first mission as their leader took him to the Yukon Territories, where numerous communities across the land had gone dark, and more people had been disappearing in the wilderness. There, Vinge and co. met a clan of Werecats, who were apparently the ones the Werewolves were pursuing, and among their ranks he met Buniq, their leader and a Werecat by birth, but a Mountain Lion by appearance. Vinge;s leadership was cut short by his act to defend Dawson City from the lycanthropes, erecting a thick wall of ice around the town to seal it off from Assiminik, but incapacitated himself in the process. Buniq, who had voluntarily joined the battle with her werecats, temporarily leads the Os-Nadarra and her people into battle, and with their combined strength and the help of Canada's elite pilots, The Hornets, they narrowly defeat Assiminik.

However, when Calhoun launched his attack on the city, framing Volcan for murders and the assault and disappearance of Obsidian, Vinge confronted Calhoun, making the miscalculation of assuming Calhoun would fight similarly to Volcan since the two had once been one and the same. But this misjudged tactic caused him to be soundly defeated by Calhoun, along with Tsume and Pavan who arrived to help him.
