A small dog in a big world, with the scars and submissive personality to prove it. When most comfortable, he is easy-going and fairly susceptible to peer pressure from friends. When uncomfortable, he is out of sight, or if that is impossible, tense and on edge. But most times, he can be seen just laying around.

Al and other dogs in his hidden village retain significantly feral tendencies. Despite sapience, speech, and technology, they are still capable of the quadrupedal movement, vocalizations, sensory capabilities (great smell and hearing), and physical gestures and desires of normal dogs as part of their proud culture. Being a yorkie however means a habit of nuisance barking when bored, hunting prey, and an enjoyment of play and learning.

Despite his issues and quirks, he is employed as a secret agent, considering a competent individual with bomb tracking capabilities on the side makes for a promising candidate. His partner is Jamie who- like most domestic cats coexisting with dogs- manhandles him out of love at every turn.
