Fashion, looks, and outfit:
Lydia wears loose-fitting clothing, and more often than not prefers men's clothing over women's. Most of the time she wears her hair in two ponytails with her part off to the side, but occasionally can be seen in a single ponytail, and rarely with it down. She wears a pair of black, thick-rimmed "nerd" glasses due to poor eyesight. She wears a pair of silver hoop earrings and has a golden eyebrow ring. She's got a small gap in her front teeth, which sometimes seems to make her sound like she has a lisp when speaking. Her main outfit consists of an ill-fitting red-and-black striped pullover hoodie with a black t-shirt underneath, gray flared jeans, red and black skateboard shoes, and a pair of tan nappa leather driving gloves (the fingertips are generally a darker shade than the rest of the gloves from constant use).

Personality:
"...So rotten that not even th' fuckin' flies wanna touch 'er." -Bernice "Bernie" Stojanovich, Holly's grandmother.
"BITCH!!!" -Marsha Rogerson, Lydia's arch enemy.
Lydia is sarcastic and cynical, and often finds herself in verbal fights with her mother and childhood friend Holly because of it. She's got a foul vocabulary, which she's not afraid to show off. Often when she's talking or describing something/someone, she uses metaphors. Her temper is pretty short, so her tolerance for other people's antics (and certain things) is low. She's a fighter, but only attacks if she's provoked physically. She can be rather shy and standoffish if she's around people that she doesn't know or isn't comfortable with.
Sometimes she thinks only for herself, not realizing that she hurts others in the process. She's prone to Schadenfreude, often finding hilarity in the suffering (and temper tantrums) of her enemies. Most of the time she only pretends to be nice, but when it comes to the ones that she really loves and is close to, that kindness and care is genuine. As a friend, she's loyal and tries to help in whatever ways she can when the need comes up.

Lifestyle:
Lydia's not really one for sitting around and doing nothing all day long. If she's not outside climbing trees in the woods, jogging to the river, splitting firewood and kindling, or walking her Doberman named Jethro, then she's doodling in her sketchbook or doing things around the house. Sure, she'll put aside some time to watch TV or play video games or screw around on the computer, but mostly she's trying to stay busy, in fear of feeling lazy and unproductive. She enjoys the company of her friends, and the company of her aunt and grandmother even more so.

Biography:
Lydia was born and raised in the riverside farming community of Beyersdorf, Warwick County, Washington State to Jennifer and Angus Degenstein, a couple of (benevolent) bikers. Her mother's half of the family hails from Switzerland, while her father's is from Germany. Apart from her hair color, she looks nothing like her parents. She takes on a lot of personality traits from her grandma, Didrika, and her aunt, Eleanor. She's sarcastic, prone to Schadenfreude, and often describes things with metaphors and similes. She has a strong love for the outdoors, being around animals, and keeping herself in shape. She hates it when she's forced to stay indoors for too long, she hates being lazy, and she doesn't like feasting on unhealthy foods.
Lydia, Holly, and Marley used to be best friends with Marsha Rogerson until rumors were being spread that the four were romantically involved with each other in the 7h and 8th grade, and before Winter Break of 2009, Lydia and her three friends separated themselves from Marsha and have since been enemies with her and her "weaboo brigade," often being chased around Mt. Saxon High School's campus.

Other facts:
-Lydia is often mistaken for myself by people outside of the internet, since we both dress in a similar manner (and apparently share some of the same features). Although we share some of the same characteristics, she is not meant to represent me in any way, shape, or fashion.
-Lydia will listen to just about anything if she likes it enough, but she prefers Classic Rock over any other type of music.
-Her middle name is derived from the song "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac. Her grandmother, being a fan of both the song and the band, insisted that it be her middle name.
-Lydia is rarely seen without her gloves. Unlike the rest of my characters, who wear gloves either because it's part of their outfit or just out of habit, Lydia has to wear them to prevent herself from biting her nails.
-When she's not wearing her gloves, her fingertips are either bandaged or wrapped with masking tape.
-Lydia's nickname given to her by her friends and family is "Squirrel" because of how easily she can scale trees... and because she can almost mimic the sounds that they make.
-Lydia has a strong dislike for cats. The reason for this, however, isn't known.
-Out of everyone in her family, Lydia seems to have the strongest bond with her grandmother, and often wishes that she could be more like her. Of all the characters in Project: Humiliation, she treats her with the most respect, refusing to lie to or fight with her.

Possible theme song(s):
-"Jumpin' Jack Flash" by The Rolling Stones
-"Hey, Hey What Can I Do?" by Led Zeppelin
-"Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac
-"Hush" by Deep Purple
