Dleif has existed since dragons and species began existing. She is the first dragon, and considered a god or a mother to the rest of the species. She took home on earth and usually took to sleeping for long periods of time, thousands, sometimes millions of years. She prefers her home to be in volcanoes. She eventually took to watching over a town built next to her volcano, which she was stuck in, because if she left that volcano, it would let the lava out and destroy the town. That town is where she met Skonia, whom she knew at Rovaniik at the time, and sent him on his fateful path. She helped that town fight against every dragon on the planet, because they all lost their reasoning and took to harming mankind and wishing to destroy life. Eventually, she left the volcano after the town was evacuated, and hunted down the rest of the dragons, killing the rest of her species to preserve the planet. She continued slumber in a volcano for another bunch of years, and in a small part of that time, was awoken by peaceful aliens called Olzul that wished to borrow her DNA for breeding. She complied, but requested that any they have no use for should be sent back to her, which was agreed to. A few thousands of years later, she was awoken by a disaster happening on the island her volcano was on. A crazy magi known as Xepher was trying to shape the island to his liking using a magical gem that harbored a magical familiar that was a dragon made out of obsidian crystals, and causing destruction to the life on the island. Dleif quickly took care of the problem, and discovered a little horned girl was with Xepher. Dleif sensed this girl to be one of her own, and she was one of the only failed tests sent back from the Olzul. She named her Risvyn Revolc, and took care of her. Soon, the island developed over a few hundred years, and Dleif sought to be the ruler of the little island, to ensure it wasn't put in the wrong hands of care. This island is currently known as Death Island.

Dleif's physique is that of a land and water dwelling dragon, but she can only harness fire and the ability to create stormy weather depending on the location.
