In New Tek City, in the year 2025, the Vampiranoid criminal known as Drakel arrived seeking an artifact which would allow him to use the full extent of his power during the day, as like others of his kind sunlight weakened him. While in the city, he decided to feast on the blood of an unfortunate human who was out on a night-time stroll, completely draining him and leaving him for dead. Drakel's criminal rampage was eventually stopped by the Earth branch B-Squad of Space Patrol Delta.

His victim, however, survived, and over the course of a week underwent a monstrous transformation. For much like their namesakes on Earth, Vampiranoids are able to create more of their kind if they entirely drain the blood of a living victim. So it came to pass that all essence of the human was destroyed, and a new Vampiranoid calling himself Jasik was born. Now he prowls each night, preying on unsuspecting beings to feast on their blood and spreading chaos as a true child of the darkness.

During hours of darkness, Jasik is extraordinarily powerful and agile, skilled in melee combat, capable of leaping great distances and able to extend tentacles from his claws to use like whips. While he hasn't fully drained his victims yet, he could potentially create more Vampiranoid followers by doing so. During hours of daylight, however, he weakens considerably. Unlike portrayals of vampires in most popular fiction he can move about in sunlight, but it has a noticeable debilitating effect on him, and while he can still technically fight he's no more powerful than the average human and tires easily. Even his colour scheme changes to reflect what can appear to be sickness. His daylight form can be found here, for an idea of his physique and colour scheme during that time. Naturally he never goes out in daylight hours unless he has no other choice, letting himself recuperate before the next night of evil activity.

The beyond-awesome image was drawn by Eda, who once again did a fantastic job of bringing a new monster to life. As mentioned in the backstory, this guy's inspired by Drakel/Cristonian Ferley and the Vampiranoid race from Power Rangers SPD/DekaRanger.
