• Slipstream is a tall panther in great physical condition. He has a very long ponytail that he keeps in a loose knot. His eyes are rarely shown, but they have a clear, glassy look due to his blindness.

Powers:

• Slipstream is a very powerful aerokinetic. Initially starting off very rough and slightly uncontrolled, he has refined his skills for over a decade now. Along with powerful burst and sweeping attacks, Slipstream can also use the powerful currents around him to fly, able to carry others up to twice his own weight. By far the most useful utility is his ability to "feel" the area around him through the air, giving him a full mental image of his surroundings, in essence allowing him to "see." Slipstream has developed this with such precision that he is able to distinguish physical characteristics of a target with very little effort.

Fighting Styles:

• Basic knowledge of Taekwondo and Jujutsu
• Rarely fights hand to hand, when forced Slipstream combines his wind manipulation with his attacks to disorient opponents

Strengths:

• Powerful aerokinetic, able to manipulate the air into various attacks
• Is easily able to rile up villains or shake them up with his taunts or joking behavior
• Despite his antics, Slipstream is known to be very dependable and can be counted on to come through for a friend/teammate whenever they're in need
• Very practiced emotional control, it's difficult to make Slipstream lose his temper or knock him off his game

Weaknesses:

• Slipstream is completely blind, and while he may be able to sense his surroundings, he still is open to missing crucial details
• Poor swimmer, one of the few times he truly feels helpless as there is no wind in water
• He needs to concentrate to use his powers, so if he is drugged or heavily disoriented he will be at a severe disadvantage

Bio:

Jason was born in Miami, FL to Adam and Cathy Mills. Both of his parents work for a popular Travel Agency in the state and were often around the world promoting tours and cruises. Sadly, it was shortly after he was conceived that Cathy fell ill for a few days while traveling with the company. It wasn't until after Jason was born that they realized how serious it had actually been. Jason had been afflicted by congenital rubella syndrome and was completely blind. This ended up being a great source of guilt for Cathy for many years, despite when Jason was old enough to understand and he constantly reassured her that he didn't blame her at all.

With the exception of his handicap, Jason had a fairly uneventful life until shortly after his 16th birthday. His parents revealed to him that Cathy was expecting another child, and when the happy Jason shouted for joy they were all equally surprised when that produced a gust of wind that blew the door to the room clear off its hinges. After the shock wore off and they realized that it had indeed come from Jason, his parents quickly made him promise not to explore what happened any further, fearful of him getting hurt or worse. Jason gave them his word, but with his fingers crossed behind his back it only lasted until managed to sneak away and get some alone time.

Whether it due to his natural affinity for it or his body compensating for his lack of eye sight, Jason quickly gained a great deal of control of the air around him. Realizing that he may be able to put his abilities to much greater use, he started taking martial arts courses in secret, though he never really got too far into them. After graduating college, Jason applied to the Atlanta BOS division, and after passing his examinations, took on the superhero fursona of Slipstream. Initially serious and to-the-point, Jason performed well as an agent for several years. However, after a mission he was on with several other agents went very wrong, he ended up being the last man still able to fight. Enraged at the pain the criminals had caused his friends and the harm they'd been doing to the community, Slipstream unleashed one of his most dangerous attacks on the group. In one swift move, Jason pulled all the air away from the thugs, defeating them all almost immediately, but in doing so he nearly asphyxiated them.

Despite his teammates reassuring him later that he did what he had to do and they didn't think any differently of him, Jason was still profoundly affected by the look of fear they'd given him at the time. Fearing losing control again like he had, Jason underwent extensive personal training to control his emotions. To allay some of the fear that was starting to become associated with him, he also drastically changed his personality. In a scant year and a half, Slipstream was barely recognizable from the way he had been, now an incredibly outgoing and charismatic individual, with a tendency towards practical jokes.

Feeling like there was something still missing, Jason eventually requested a transfer to the Colmaton BOS. His request was accepted and a short while later he moved across the country. Interestingly enough, one of the first unregistered heroines he met in the new city was another blind crimefighter like himself. Enjoying his new surroundings making friends already, Slipstream is ready to show the thugs and gangsters of Colmaton that the new winds in the city are coming at them with the force of a hurricane.

Personality:

Slipstream is a very energetic, outgoing, and entertaining individual. While at times his pranks may wear thin on some of the more mission-oriented minded members of the BOS, he nonetheless remains on good terms with nearly everyone he works with. This is due both to the relatively innocent and playful nature of his jokes, and he does respect the wishes of those that don't want to be included in his antics (mostly). An optimist at heart, Slipstream is always willing to hear both sides of any story, and firmly believes in innocent-until-proven-guilty.

He has quickly built a reputation of his deep caring towards his teammates and friends. Slipstream is willing to, and has on a few occasions, take a bullet for them. One of the few times you'll actually see him serious and forgo his usual antics is when his friends are depressed or hurting, and at that point he'll go out of his way to try and be there for them.
