In Saskia's world, fox folk are kept enslaved by a reptile/dragon race. They basically raise them to adulthood and then kill them for their fur. Since they’re raised for this reason, they’re bred for many different colored coats (like foxes at fur farms IRL ahaha), but also their fur is particularly long and soft. When Saskia gets the heck out of there (and burns the place down with rad fox magic), one of the first things she does is to cut the annoyingly long fur, but it’s cut rather poorly so it’s a little uneven looking in some places. The sudden loss of the extra fur leaves her feeling a little chilly though, so she wears some clothes and a scarf.

Saskia has a serious vendetta. She's also ace/aro. She prefers to be independent, but has a lot to learn about self-sufficiency after growing up in a prison.
