Xylia is one of four kittens rescued from a bad storm by Sterling.

Unlike her brothers, Xylia is a huntress, and she despises anything of the rodentia kind entering what she likes to call her home. She's a top mouser, and will eagerly chase after the things until she's satisfied they're good and gone.

Of the four, she is the closest to Sterling and holds the old tomcat in very high regard. She's the only cat Sterling will allow near him on a regular basis, and if he's in a grumpy mood, she always seems to calm him down a touch. She is a loving, purring bundle of happiness and quite motherly at times.

Xylia tends to perch upon the arms of the chairs or along the back of the couch. She's fond of looking at the world from her seat, but if she catches movement of the skittering kind, she is off like a shot. Xylia is of a lean build, no matter how much she adores her food, she burns it off by running after whatever she feels doesn't belong anywhere near the house. She's fairly lean in that respect, and her purring can be heard down the hall at times. She has a deep rumbling purr when she's content.

She can be found curled up on VJ's sneakers of a night. VJ's not entirely sure why that is, but Xylia keeps them warm for her on cold mornings.
