This look a lot longer than it should have because I've been not in the mood to draw x-x Anyway here's the first UICA (essentially space UN) staff characters I wanted to do! Unlike other characters like Gee and Elgarr they both have a permanent position and live on the artificial UICA planet rather than occasionally work alongside it. Also yay I actually finally got to post the 3rd human character in my sci fi I kept mentioning every so out :dummy:. For the record Anish is actually decently tall for a Indian man (5'11") its just Bli!gira are a big freakin' xeno people. On that note due to scale I couldn't do my normal thing here with having turn around sketches and a drawing of the characters with Darwin without leaving no space for random sketches without making them very tiny so I decided to not bother.

Btw given the length because its two character this is a rare exception where I'll understand if you don't read the artist comment in full (this is mostly for me and anyone wanting to know about these characters) SO INFO TIME:

History: Dinla's life has been relatively standard but interesting all the same. Unlike most of her kind she was born on UICA territory and has remained there much of the time besides when her job requires off planet visits. As a result she has work with the UICA for the last century since reaching adulthood and went up the ranks from a simple secretary to head of defence due to her strength and lack of usual limits Bli!gira possess. Roughly 35 years before the beginning of the story she met Anish as a young man. At first they didn't get along but overtime they blossomed a friendship that would become a full on romantic engagement. They have been together since. As of the beginning of the story Dinla is simply doing her job as always.
Personality: Dinla is a gentle motherly figure. She very sweet and full of life advice and will help anyone that needs it no matter the inconvenience it presents to her. She however has no kindness in her heart for people that harm others without good reason and has been known to go too far, having hospitalized many criminal with severe injuries while stopping them (though its honestly hard for her to know how badly she's hurting people give the size difference they often have). That said her biggest flaw would be despite her position she's actually not that great at her job. Between pummelling trouble makers far too hard and usually spending most of her time being a parent for everyone including her own daughter Dinla ends up leaving most of her work on the shoulder's of everyone else. All in all a nice person you probably don't want as your enemy or boss.
Other points of interest:
-As mentioned she has one daughter which she had quite a few years into her relationship with Anish.
-Unlike most Bli!gira she does not possess the same anxiety related to moving fast as Igelin has much stronger gravitational force than Earth. Most would think this is a result of being raised somewhere besides their home planet but as other Bli!gira in a similar situation as Dinla still have the fear it seems to be unique to her. This does work in her favour as she isn't afraid to charge or throw herself at criminals when needed.
-Unlike most members of her kind she's quite a picky eater and actually doesn't like meat. This probably is because she lives in a location where food scarcity is a non issue.

History: Anish has a hero like life story. His life started off rather normal, growing up in Faridabad with his family and siblings. At age 17 while working a large scale attack took place across the area at the hands of a Vishquinza warlord (yeah they actually have come back a few times since 1947 cause problems). Many buildings and homes were utterly obliterated including Anish's, killing his entire family in the process. Angered by what he believed was a lack of shits given by the Men in Black (which are responsible for the defence of Earth from xeno life) he found his way to their Indian headquarter... and proceeded to assault several people. Unlike most situations where this would have gotten him arrested the MiB saw potential and gave him the option to join. He took the offer given he had nothing really to lose at this point.

After a few years of working on Earth he was sent to do some work in the UICA headquarters where he met Dinla. At first he was pretty cold as he had grown to not like any xenos but eventually the grew on each other and became lovers. Given that he kept coming back the UICA to spend time with her. Eventually that led to him getting the offer to be an MiB human representative at the UICA which met he would now not only be partially responsible for defending India from galactic scum but the entire goddamn world. He took the offer and has been there since. As of the beginning of the story he has been inform of a potential xeno threat in Canada and has sent bounty hunters to try to catch the individual.
Personality: Anish has one main mode: assertive all the time. This can be both a good and bad thing as he doesn't beat around the bush about his feelings when people are acting badly but also may unintentionally hurt someone's feeling by not showing enough compassion. Unlike his partner he's takes his job very seriously and is rarely seen doing anything else that isn't related to his position. Again this can be a great or bad thing depending on what you need from the guy. He does take time off to spend with his partner and her daughter (which views him as a parent as well) and works diligently to not think about work as hard as that is for him. All in all a very dedicated and kinda strict person but he's very good at what he does best.
Other points of interest:
-Anish has a lot of scars across his body especially around his hands and neck. This is due to getting into a pretty nasty conflict with a Tenaliam (they have pretty sharp nails on their feet). He could have gotten treatment to reduce the appearance but he didn't really care enough to bother.
-Despite his initial rage over his entire family dying Anish has actually grown to avoid going to India as much as possible. At this point in the story there is a lot of anti xeno sentiments there partially due to the attacked that killed his family (which would prevent him from comfortably travelling there with Dinla).
-He has an amazing tolerance for the cold, kinda comes with the territory of living with a alien species that needs to be cold most of the time.
