Birdie is a gentle soul, whose chosen occupation is that of a belly dancer. He is always happy to perform for friends, and spends what parts of the day he does not have other duties (being as he is the home maker) training those skills. Those other duties are such things as simply keeping the home in order, and of course cooking.

He is basically an alternative form of my own normally genderless self, in an alternative world created by the incredibly talented Wovstah. In this world, Kihumé Diré he lives in the country of Nishtar in a traditional male marriage with a similarly alternative version of Makenshi (though considerably more similar to his normal self, simply being fluffy rather than a pooltoy).

The description of this situation by Wovstah: "These two are in a traditional male marriage where one (in this case, Leinir's Birdie) takes a wife's role. He is domestic, soft spoken, beautiful, and creative. The husband (in this case, Makenshi) is a supportive head of the household, brings in friends and family, makes the house warm and available to the community with his sense of loyalty and career."
