koban is a timid little prince that was stolen away by touya and left on a boat to the americas bc he feared him being corrupt.. so he grows up as a cleaning boy

koban is brought back to the palace after being found by a group that had been searching for him, and he's once again heir but not too thrilled about it. he only stays bc he wants to make the kingdom a better place

in the process he meets taiyo a messenger/mystery job guy and he shows him what it's like to live a little and koban is always looking forward to his visits
