A nice extroverted fellow Korvus is a true magpie indeed, curious and ever searching for new things to experience and learn. He will talk up a storm about topics he is interested in and is very eager to adapt to a crowd. He loves to make snide and rude jokes from time to time, always in good nature even if they do not always go over as well as he likes.
As a magpie and additionally a wizard he also has a tendency to hoard and treasure objects, even those of little worth or things he cannot even really use. His nests are littered with various objects that surely ‘might be of some use, some day’ as he puts it himself.
As far as Korvus is concerned he is a highly skilled wizard, a master of the art he diligently insists is luck magic. Although unpredictable the magpie is certain that he can one day master this art and control the very nature of chance, gain the ability to grant good luck to his friends and curse his foes with the disastrous effects of misfortune.
In all actuality the true nature of Korvus’ magic might be something far more dangerous, namely the chaotic ‘art’ of Wild Magic, untamed powerful energies that are a danger to the wizard and all those around him. If it is indeed Wild Magic that the magpie is unwittingly using, his days are numbered indeed.
