Personality: To describe Mona as a person, her thoughts and feelings, proves to be an impossible feat for many. By nature Mona is almost painfully cryptic, and typically seems to be working only for the interest of herself or some unknown party. She always appears to have influence everywhere she goes, either by fear or persuasion. She is a weaver of words, and has the ability bend nearly anyone to her will with just speech alone.

However this doesn't make her come off as malicious. In fact, she have an over all joyful and pleasant demeanor. Well, most of the time. It's difficult to tell what she is feeling if one can't read body motions; as Mona doesn't have a face. Well it seems constantly hidden behind a blank, static, slightly smiling mask. You can't even see her eyes through the black eyeholes.

No one is ever quite sure of her motives, but she always knows more than she lets on. Even to the extent of worrying many as they don't know how much she might know about them on a personal level without them knowing. This adds to a very creepy factor, and makes those who make an enemy of her in very real danger.

History: Mona's beginnings were humble, she was raised among a family of monochrome spellcasters who served the royal court of her homeland. The family specialized in Black and White magic. Or best known as Shadow and Light, and were the most well known of those who practiced this art. Their family was marked with this, as any of their heritage were completely monochrome in appearance, lacking any color. She spent her childhood training, reading and studying all things of magic, and soon took her mothers place within the King's court.

However, after some time she fell in-love with a young noble and were set to wed only a year after their first meeting. Unbeknownst to her, someone else was also after her heart, and they believe that she could only be theirs and no other. This secret admirer tried their damndest to break apart the two couple and even try to frame Mona for flirting with others, including himself.. The Prince of the Kingdom... But it never worked.

However, a week before Mona and her Fiance were set to wed... Her fiance was murdered. She would not have to wait long to learn who had done so. As the Prince was very forward in his claims. Almost bragging that if her Fiance could not fend off 'hired assassins' then he was not a worthy husband to the Court Magician.

Enraged.. Mona did the unthinkable. Forgoing her training of White Magic, she gave herself entirely to that of Black.. Sacrificing the one thing the Prince coveted to her. Her face.. in exchange for complete control of the workings of Black Magic.

With this pact made, Mona cast a devastating curse that plummeted the Kingdom into a never ending storm of despair. And endless rain storm, in which the rain drained away the color and positive emotions of the kingdom. Her wrath was terrible, but she would not remain there to continue her work...

Mona left the Kingdom, and the begging Prince. Leaving them to their bleak future while she sought to find a home where she could begin anew...

Weapons and Strengths:

Mona has two weapons at her disposal. A Scythe and her Black Magic. The scythe is simple in structure and make, and is more of a conductor and focus for her magic if need be. Her magic however, is incredibly deadly.

Black magic, or Shadow magic as it can be called is magic involving the shadows and dark beings there in. Though it can be countered with White magic, if left alone it can be devastating. Ranging from summoning, to shadow bending, corrupted elemental spells, and a plethora of hexes and curses... making Mona an incredibly dangerous opponent if faced in battle.

Her virtue is Patience.

Faults and Weaknesses:

As with any spell caster, Mona is relativity fragile. She has low endurance and isn't skilled or well off in close handed combat. She can be vengeful as well, and if someone makes an enemy of her, she will go out of her way to cause them suffering and will never let up until she has decided enough is enough.

Her vice is Wrath.
