New character, Ling Mao the Chinese silkie hen! She's a tea farmer. The Chinese name for silkie chickens is "wu gu ji", which translates to dark-boned chicken, and sounds adorable. Beyond that, I don't have much written about her yet.
I had a REALLY hard time coming up with a silkie character design that looked right to me. Their faces and eyes are completely covered in feathers, but I imagine this girl plucks/shaves around her features so she can see and whatnot.
I have a white silkie hen & beautiful tortoiseshell rooster and just spent an hour on the porch snuggling with them. <3 They're so lovable and mine will just curl up in my lap and sleep forever.

Oh man, what a gorgeous design! I immediately guessed you came up with her from your own chickens. The fact you worked around the floof while still making her distinguishable as a silkie is great. Love her sweet face <3
