Darkness is Bass's fraternal twin...although it's complicated how this happened.

There is little known about Darkness other than he is demon, but the tattoos all over his body are seals to keep his true form from emerging and thus reaking havoc on mankind

In the meantime he's uses his demonic powers to send demons back to help in exchange for absolution of his sins.

In order to sustain is mortality he must eat a mortal substance. Luckily this substance is chocolate...and not human flesh.

Darkness may be intimidating at first but heart is in the right place when it comes to protecting Bass and his friends from evil. Human emotions are still new to him but gradually acquires compassion for other people.
