A former goalkeeper in her youth, Pandora had aspirations to be a soccer star herself at one point, but between her conflicted personal life with her ex-husband, her children Joanna (Karrablast) and Marco (Venipede) and her diminishing love for the game made her pull back for a few years to give her mind focus. A couple of years of soul-searching between jobs and new loves eventually led Pandora back to the game, this time as a teacher rather than a student. While Pandora's new role in life is nowhere near as glamorous as what she had hoped it'd be when she was younger, her dream now is to see fresh young faces do their best to reach their own dreams, one kick at a time.

As of late, she's been seen with YourFriendlyVirus's Gai Miyauchi , a Heracross who she met on duty as he went to sign up his nephews to her soccer team. The kids get along well enough with her own kids (who also play), though there is the occasional bit of friction at the fact that their respective adults are dating and all that implies.

• Cilene Ribeiro is her maiden name. She kept it even when she was married.

• Her native language is Brazilian-style (Poke-Brazilian?) Portuguese, though is fluent in English as well. She's recently started learning Japanese to try to impress Gai, though she still has a long way to go before that happens.

• She favors her Bug-type moves over her Poison-type ones both as a sense of pride and pure taste in combat tactics. While she doesn't fight competitively, she did take a few self-defense courses at one point which she still practices on occasion along with actual soccer playing. And yes, she knows Toxic and Venoshock and will not hesitate to use it on anyone that attacks her or her children.

• Despite her very active lifestyle, she's a lover for fried things and sweets. It's probably one of the reasons she's a bit on the large (well, wide) side even for a Scolipede, even when she only eats those on occasion while still sticking to a more healthier diet half the time. She's fairly happy with her body overall, though there are times she wonders if her tail-horns are too big...

• She has only ever married (and divorced) once and has gone on a few dates, most of them set up by girl friends in the past. She had all but given up on looking until Gai showed up.

• One of her side hobbies is learning web design. She single-handedly set up her soccer team's official website and also runs a small personal blog which she uses primarily to share her stories as a soccer coach.

• She's never traveled beyond Unova before, though is fascinated with the idea of flying around the world. Kalos in particular excites her, as she has a very romanticized view of it being a place of beauty and art. Her favorite souvenir from there? Gai's Mega Stone, which his nephews got for him. Let's put it this way: she has developed a habit of putting some money aside for special occasions, of which one of the investments is for a new shirt for Gai...so he can rip out of them whenever he transforms.

• She loves pulling harmless pranks whenever the chance arises, usually on her closest friends, her kids, her team or Gai. So she can then take photos and share them online.

• She's something of a mediocre cook, to the point that the kids themselves have picked up on the art so that the family can eat something actually not-boring every now and then. Marco in particular aspires to go to a culinary academy when he's older, though good luck getting him to admit it out loud, as the idea embarrasses him. Even mom doesn't know, though she has a hunch, what with his fondness for looking up cooking shows online and his want for his own knife set..

• She's had superhero fantasies since she was a child, She grew up reading comic books and watching superhero shows on TV, mostly imported programming from Kanto and Johto. Her own kids are nowhere near as fanatic as she is, though they love teasing her about it as well as gift her with the occasional comic book or geeky merchandise. This of course means it's impossible to guess what Pandora's age is if all you saw was her bedroom, what with the porcelain figures on one end and her imported PokeFig action figure of The Magnificent Zubat on the other...
