I wanted a monster-thing, so I made one... XD
I'm thinking shi lives in a post-apocalyptic environment where humans have practically destroyed themselves.
Their kind created to fight human battles for them but were too intelligent and super adaptive.
Even though shi has gone through so much, bred to be a fearless warrior, and has been through so much trauma, this specific being is not inherently viscous or volatile.
In fact, unless provoked, this being is fairly docile.
However, I wouldn't recommend makeing hir mad... >.>

Correct! But in the character options when submitting to Weasyl there wasn't a "sex" option so....:/ (they should really get one!)

BUT- Since I am really the LAST person who wants to be insensitive about these things, I can at least change the description on the image itself. (Can't do anything about the Weasyl input stuff though.. sorry!)

What an incredible character. I love the concept of the arms being able to materialize if they focus. I've never see anything so original when it comes to the design and species idea.
As for the art itself, I really like how you've used a nice brush to paint the muscles of the phantom arms. It looks nearly like it's made of smoke.Great job. I really love your art, friend.

Oh man oh man, this is a really amazing character concept! gosh dang. I like how the arms aren't just "ooo ghostly arms" they look like whispy muscles and nerves and the /idea/ of arms. really different!

(oh my gosh yes, that was the general idea...kinda..very horrifying! )Can you imagine? The idea of after a battle, the humans coming in to collect the bodies to uhm...process..)
I got this idea because I was watching a WWII documentary while eating bacon. >.<
I'm not proud of it but I thought it would make a more interesting being than "oh they're just a manpig" XD
